Job Description:
The Sign Shop Manager is under the direct supervision of the President, Vice President, and General Manager of ECTTS. The sign shop manager oversees a number of direct reports and freelancers relating to the daily workings of the sign shop. It is the sign shop managers responsibility to hire, train, supervise and evaluate employees as well as preparing their work schedules and tasks. It is the managers role to make sure customer service is the top priority making sure customers leave happy, will return again and also leave a good review and recommendation for other customers. The manager ensures all staff adhere to safety standards, policies & procedures. All ordering, recording and managing inventory as well as sales and earnings are monitored by the manager.
Working Hours:
The Sign Shop is open Monday- Friday from 8:00am 5:00pm. The manager reports to the Sign Shop office prior to the start of the day and is prepared to start work at 8:00am and end the day at 5:00pm. Often, the manager will have to come in early, stay later and also come in on weekends as needed. This will pertain to jobs that are approved, tow shows and other ECTTS events.
Responsibilities:
The sign shop manager is responsible for all day-to-day activities as well as all equipment pertaining to the sign shop. This includes: PC computers, an HP Laser printer, Versaworks software, large format printers, laminators and also purchase info, contracts and warranties. The sign shop manager also needs to ensure all job information is organized and filed accordingly and saved on the server as well in the email software. The manager will support the activities of ECTTS, as well as phone calls and website inquiries and is in charge of all customer jobs, interactions, issues and disputes that may arise. This includes creation and install of truck lettering, partial/full wraps, banners, yard signs, ECTTS fleet wraps, signage, and marketing materials as well as media for tow shows and other events. The manager also oversees all internal printing/invoices, some branding and all departmental needs within the organization. In addition, the manager will ensure the designers store all job information on the server and organize all sign shop files so it is easily accessible for reference for future jobs and any issues.

Shop equipment use of a bucket lift and scissor lift required.
Shop/Office Environment Your time is split between the office environment on the computer and also the install bay.
Hearing must be able to hear people speak
Vision must be able to see details within one foot and objects up to 30 feet away. Eye protection and steel toe shoes are occasionally required.
