Sales Engineer
At GT Midwest, the Sales Engineer is the primary means of maintaining and growing the business. As such, Sales Engineers have three essential job duties: maintain existing business, penetrate existing accounts, and develop new accounts. These high-level duties encompass a wide array of day-to-day activities. These activities are conducted alone, in conjunction with other GT personnel (including management) and in conjunction with customer and supplier personnel. In some instances, the Sales Engineer operates independently, in other instances, the Sales Engineer will have to complete specific projects and tasks as assigned by management
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Provide technical support to customers during the sales process
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to provide the best solutions to customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed
