What you will do::
Beacon Roofing Supply is seeking a seasoned Director, Compensation that will lead the Compensation team as part of the company’s Total Rewards function, ensuring the effective development and delivery of compensation programs and services to our leaders and internal partners.

Lead a team of dedicated compensation professionals assigned to the operating divisions and compensation programs of the Company

Develop collaborative relationships with the HR leaders in our operating divisions to ensure the delivery, communication and execution of our compensation programs

Maintain and further develop our annual merit increase program, overall job architecture, career paths and salary structures, pay management training programs, annual cash incentive plan calculation and accrual process, and long-term incentive awards program

Recommend market-supported enhancements to existing compensation programs and implement impactful new base pay, annual cash incentive and long term incentive award programs

Determine and manage the selection of and participation in pay surveys

Develop and maintain best practice compensation policies and procedures

Support due diligence of compensation matters during mergers and acquisitions
What you will bring::
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Accounting

10 years of experience in broad-based and annual incentive compensation and 5 years of experience leading and developing a team of compensation professionals, preferably for a Fortune 500 company

Experience in implementing company wide pay programs, including annual cash incentive plan design and plans

Strong project management skills and ability to lead Human Resources partners through the buy-in and implementation of company-wide compensation programs

Understanding of company financial metrics and relationship to shareholder value creation

Strong interpersonal skills, analytical curiosity and capability, responsiveness, results oriented, and proactive management of the annual compensation program timeline

Advanced MS Excel and PowerPointskills

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification
