Sales Analyst jobs in Delaware City, DE

Seeking an Independent, self-starter who is timeline sensitive and detail oriented. This person would report to the Finance Manager and directly serve stakeholders in the Sales, Logistic, and Marketing Departments. Will need to be able to work collaboratively and guide conversations with analytics to make appropriate business decisions. The success of this role will be measured on their ability to turn data into insights in a timely and efficient manner.

Sales Analyst

• 
  Act as a liaison for Sale’s team to understand historic topline performance and forecast
• 
  Support Marketing on new product proposals and track approved items through their life cycle
• 
  Provide Logistics analysis on KPI’s and suggest actions to maintain targets
• 
  Provide Adhoc analysis as needed
• 
  Meet monthly to review and forecast supporting departments overhead spends
• 
  Support accounting during month end close for deduction, commission, marketing, and logistic accruals
• 
  Serve as the data steward to build forecast, plan, and strategy, as well as Integrated Business Planning models

• 
  2-3 Years of Experience
• 
  Bachelors in accounting/finance
• 
  Strong Excel skills
• 
  Power Bi experience a plus
• 
  ERP system experience, Navision Business Central a plus
• 
  Understanding of key analytical metrics (Volume-Price-Mix, Contribution Margin, vertical/horizontal analysis)
• 
  Understanding of deductions and CPGs (Consumer Packaged Goods)
• 
  Limited travel, may be asked to travel to North Jersey or Europe on occasion
