Sales Administration Director develops and directs the sales data analysis function to deliver reporting and tools to sales teams and management that ensure effective sales execution and the achievement of growth objectives. Deploys CRM and other systems to manage customer and activity data. Being a Sales Administration Director develops monitoring and methodologies to analyze sales metrics and to provide insights, support decisions, and highlight areas for process improvement. Directs research efforts to understand market conditions and competitors. PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The YMCA of Honolulu is seeking an individual with passion for our cause to join its development team as the Director of Grant Administration, reporting to the Vice President of Development. This position has lead responsibility for securing and managing grant support for the mission of the YMCA of Honolulu. Responsible for developing relationships with foundations and corporations; securing grants from corporations, foundations and government in support of key programs. The director researches prospective foundations, develops compelling proposals and creates reports to document project completion. The director communicates inter-departmentally in both verbal and written formats extensively and is highly detail-oriented. Provides leadership to our outcome measurements across the organization to ensure effectiveness of program delivery for our grants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:
1) Implements strategies including stewardship within the Association to ensure healthy growth.
2) Works with Association leadership to assess needs and seek grant opportunities.
3) Writing: Develops, writes, and edits well-articulated and accurate correspondence, letters of inquiry, proposals, concept papers, white papers, case statements, and presentation materials such as PowerPoint decks, donor reports and other documents as assigned. Assists editing and proofreading of other grant proposals and reports for adherence to request for proposal (RFP) requirements.
4) Submits materials to donors in advance of deadlines.
5) Research: Researches and identifies viable foundation, trust, corporate and other institutional prospects to fund the organization’s operations and programs. Assists with researching audience, needed facts, background information and other required data for proposal development. Communicates and works with Association leadership and employees inter-departmentally to gather data and information to write comprehensive proposals, monitor and manage status on active grant programs, and to complete timely financial and program reports.
6) Analyzes grant revenue data to provide recommendations and strategy for the following year’s plan.
7) Works closely with the Accounting Office and program directors on the successful rollout of grants awarded.
8) Works closely with Development Operations Manager and Development Coordinator to appropriately record grants in customer relationship management software (CRM - Raiser’s Edge) and to track the status of active grants and RFPs.
9) Helps develop, refine, and manage program outcomes measures be used to demonstrate the Y’s impact and effectiveness in the community.
