Safety Technician inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations. Responsibilities also include documenting safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures, and maintaining safety equipment supply and availability. Being a Safety Technician may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Position Summary
Under department leadership, the Fire Technician - Apprentice will support client and internal site operations by developing experience in fire extinguisher inspections and repair.
The Apprentice will build hands-on experience and education to support sitting for and passing the state Type B Fire Extinguisher License.
Expertise built will afford the Apprentice the ability to work independently, offer support to the team and successfully support the organization as a Fire Technician.
Essential Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to
replacing worn or damaged parts.
