Develops and distributes educational materials including videos, guides, and posters. Being a Safety Representative tracks and documents accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent future accidents. Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. Additionally, Safety Representative has a broad and current knowledge of all government and applicable industry safety regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a 4-month construction project near Ashburn, VA. This position is expected to operate on a Monday-Friday 5-10 Day Shift schedule with the potential for Saturday work. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting and advising management of their findings on a daily basis for a single site location. Per diem is available for travelers. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
