Safety Director directs, develops, and oversees the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization. Ensures the workplace is in compliance with OSHA and other state, local, or industry specific regulations and that periodic safety audits are conducted. Being a Safety Director provides programs that ensure a safe workplace including safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment. Develops a systemic process to collect data and analyze the causes of accidents and generate required reporting. Additionally, Safety Director implements initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Safety Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Safety Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Your Role

    We are looking to hire an experienced Director of Marketing, with a specialization in SEO and digital media. In this role, you are responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the Marketing Department. This includes the oversight of multiple social media platforms, affiliates, content creation, and all written collateral. The ideal candidate will work towards fostering creativity and growth that results in sales and also have a deep understanding in data and analytics.

    What you will be accountable for: 

    • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company vision. 
    • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and oversee their implementation from ideation to execution.
    • Manage a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, email campaigns and blogs.
    • Oversee the production of valuable and engaging content for our website, social media and blog that attracts and converts our target groups.
    • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players.
    • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures, etc.
    • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
    • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
    • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with executive leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • 8 years of experience in marketing or a closely related field.
    • 5 years of experience in the management of a marketing department.
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism or related field OR substitution for additional years of experience in Marketing.
    • Proficiency with digital marketing and social media strategy.
    • Expert in search engine optimization.
    • Experience in the tactical gear market or tactical community
    • Required onsite at our Cedar Park location. 

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Prior CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) specialist experience.
    • Prior military or law enforcement experience. Veterans/current military: provide DD-214 or statement of service.
    • Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
    • Travel: 15%
