The Deposit Services Processor I position is included in a workplace model that allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.

As a Deposit Services Processor I, essential responsibilities include:

• Serve as a Trusted Advisor to both customers and branch personal for questions pertaining to DDA and Time products, including associated rules and regulations.
• Provide resolution to account issues within defined Service Level Agreements.
• Maintains and updates knowledge relating to bank products, services and procedures.
• Make needed adjustments through accurate data entry.
• Preparation of customer correspondence regarding accounts.
• Monitor and make necessary adjustments to the existing deposit portfolio.
• Monitor accounts to control risk associated with funds moving through STAR’s deposit accounts.
• Complete accurate financial account maintenance; i.e. online maintenance requests, managing interest rates on time. deposits, closing of deposit accounts, etc.
• Compilation of client deposit information upon third party requests.
• Process valid requests of client’s financial information.
• Verify accuracy of account documentation through document warehousing system.
• Create document exceptions so appropriate action can be taken to mitigate risk to the company.
• Provide CIF support, corrections and maintenance.
• Accurate examination of validity of requested transactions.
• Adheres to and applies all operational standards and procedures.
• Provide backup to other Branch Services duties as workload dictates.
• Apply knowledge to assist in the training and development of Branch Services employees.
• Serve and assist on project teams under the direction of lead.
