Bryant is seeking surveyor’s assistants to work under the title of Instrument Operator (I), where you will be an integral part of the Bryant Associates Land Survey Department in our Boston, MA office, where we provide our clients with a full-range of surveying and mapping services.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Instrument Operator will assist the Party Chief in performing Land Surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology to produce maps for engineering Designers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate, on a daily basis, various surveying instruments• Assist the Party Chief with all aspects of the daily crew assignment• Maintain survey equipment and supplies• Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulationsREQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Must have a desire to learn new skills and be adept at technology driven equipment• Desire to work in a team environment• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check• Ability to pass a drug testEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• This is an entry level position, no Survey experience is required.• Will provide hands on training• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent• Supplemental course in surveying a plusTRAVEL:
• Daily travel to and from various local/regional job sites will be required• Reliable transportation required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
