    Summary:
    Tends machines that convert film materials into various bags by performing the following duties. 
    This position is a Monday-Friday Night Shift, 11:30pm - 7:30am. First 3 months will be on Day Shift 7:30am - 3:30pm *Schedule could change*

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Fills powder and maintains proper flow of dispenser.
    • Use of Forklift
    • Able to load master rolls on to machine for timely roll splicing of master rolls.
    • Starts sealing machine and observes operation to detect faulty sealing and prevent conveyor jamming.
    • Feeds film into machine and removes finished goods from discharge conveyor.
    • Performs daily preventive maintenance on machine and sealer.
    • Adjusts guides to convey film properly through the sealer for a proper seal.
    • Packs cartons to proper quantity per job sheet.
    • Packs cartons to proper quantity per job sheet.
    • Puts data into ERP system to print proper labels per carton.
    • Inspects contents of carton to verify size, color and proper number of finished goods per carton.
    • Set up and properly maintain ink jet printer.
    • Set up and properly maintain in-line bag printer. 
    • Performs quality testing.
