About us

A large family owned materials business is looking for a Full Time Office Assistant/Warehouse Worker (forklift operator) to work Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM. Candidate must be energetic, friendly, dependable and professional. Previous experience working in a fast-paced office setting is highly preferred. With the ability to pick up a minimum of 50-150 /- LBS.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Forklift Operator

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to work; as dependable work attendance is required
• Self-motivated professional with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Quickbooks experience is a plus (or the willingness to learn a new software- if not proficient in Quickbooks)
• Professional attitude and appearance- as customer service is a priority
• Multi-tasking, Organizational and Time Management skills are a must
• Shipping and Receiving
• Pull and prep orders for shipping and/or pick up
• Assist in maintaining inventory counts
• Comply with safety standards and procedures

Job duties include:

• Greet and welcome customers
• Handle material pick-ups
• Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
• Provide basic and accurate information on products via phone/email
• Order entry, payment processing and daily invoicing
• Respond to customers in a timely manner via phone/email
• Daily Filing
• General office duties
• Must be able to lift, push or pull over 100 LBS.
• Ability to operate Forklift
• Fork Lift Certification, is a plus
