SBA Regional Sales Manager manages a team of lending officers that generate Small Business Administration (SBA) government-guaranteed loans and lines of credit. Develops relationships with a network of financial professionals and other referral sources to identify prospects. Being a SBA Regional Sales Manager engages with clients to ensure their ongoing needs are addressed and to understand the broader needs of the small business community in the region. Regularly monitors and reviews the current SBA loan portfolio to identify issues. Additionally, SBA Regional Sales Manager maintains an up-to-date knowledge of SBA products, rules, and regulations. Establishes operational processes that conform with SBA SOP guidelines. Provides coaching, training, and development opportunities for banking officers on the team. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager performs various sales and customer service activities in support of independent and company owned WRMG (White River Marine Group) dealerships. This role will support the Great Lakes Region (MI, IL, IN, OH, and KY) and the candidate should reside within that region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manages a defined territory toward achievement of WRMG unit sales and Voice of the Customer (VOC) performance objectives.
Seeks to ensure the highest quality of dealer representation available within the region.
Assists with the on-boarding of new dealers and sales people including use of Trac-Net, Tracker University, support team introductions and other training opportunities.
Utilizes market study data and market trends to develop dealership Boat Stocking Model (BSM) levels and assortment.
Promotes and conducts training on use of the Tracker Way Sales Process.
Ensures understanding of and adherence to company No Hassle / No Haggle sales policy.
Assists in the development and presentation of WRMG Product Knowledge training.
Maintains awareness of WRMG, TMBC and BPS advertised promotional campaigns.
Participates in special events such as Boat Shows, Open Houses, offsite events, etc.
Monitors competition regularly communicating findings to dealers and Base Camp management to protect market share.
Promotes company offerings such as I-Pad Training Application, WRFS, Premier Protection Plans, Source One, Voice of the Dealer, etc.
Reports findings of product quality concerns to applicable members of WRMG Base Camp and plant management and assists with resolution.
Conducts regularly scheduled visits to company owned dealerships supporting top line WRMG unit sales. Provides summary of visit to store and TMBC management including descriptions of product display integrity, inventory management, seasonality, promotional pricing strategy, training levels and overall engagement.
Manages a personal Travel & Expense budget per company guidelines.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Degree: High School education
Experience in marine or like industry
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Ability to calculate figures such as package pricing with options, discounts and percentages
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with vendors, dealers, customers and other associates
Ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with Management, customers and coworkers
Ability to perform and train others on the use of various computer applications
Must have and maintain company approved driving record
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
>50% within Region
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular computer work, walking, standing and lifting
Occasional lifting up to 50lbs
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
