Business Development Officer, C&I

NCB is seeking a highly motivated C&I Business Development Officer in the Alaska market. The primary purpose of this new role is to generate new loan and deposit business for the C&I team through prospecting, outside calling, networking and referrals, primarily with Alaska Native Corporations and Tribal Entities. Candidates should have experience in selling loan, deposit and treasury management services. In addition, the position will also require some relationship and portfolio management responsibilities.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred, with 7 years of experience originating and closing C&I transactions.
• Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with Alaska Native Corporations.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and credit analysis skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel to rural communities throughout Alaska
• Ability to interact with senior management both internally and externally
• Proficiency in MS Office Platform, nCino, financial calculator, internally and externally
