SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and manages banking relationships with small business customers to acquire new business, sell financial products and services and grow the portfolio. Prospects for new customers, upsell opportunities, and referrals. Being a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and maintains strong relationships with referral sources. Engages with existing customers to understand their financial needs and provide suggestions for products and services that benefit small businesses throughout the business cycle. Additionally, SB Financial Services Relationship Manager serves as point of contact and advocates for customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide product information. Maintains an in-depth understanding of product offerings and coordinates with other areas of the bank to upsell or deliver services to customers. The Business Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for the acquisition of new commercial banking clients and the expansion/retention of existing relationships. The ideal candidate will help structure, underwrite, negotiate, and manage complex credit relationships. Other responsible include developing and executing relationship management plans for high value clients; effectively collaborating with client support and product teams as well as senior management.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for annual goals tied to loan and deposit volume, cross-sales, call planning/prospecting and fee income generation
Manage and grow existing customer relationships with businesses that generally have up to $10M in revenue
Nurture and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting client’s business and personal needs
Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products
Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans
Build and manage a professional network of COI’s and referral sources
Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with a consistent approach to calling
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years’ relationship, community, and/or small business banking experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills. With the ability to proactively manage and prioritize workflow
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability establishing client relationships and working in a team environment
