Our Fairfield Branch is looking for a Financial Services Manager! The ideal candidate will have thorough branch management experience, be skilled in growing sales, and have a leadership style that motivates and inspires their team. He or she will also understand the role that First Northern Bank serves in our communities.
What You’ll Do
As a Financial Services Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the branch’s business. This includes marketing and sales activities, budget projections, coaching and training of branch employees, quality of service, operations, audit integrity, and facilities and risk management.
Responsibilities Include
- Supervise personnel, recommend and maintain staffing levels, performance appraisals, promotions, hiring and terminations
- Ensure adherence to the Bank's Code of Conduct, other policies and procedures by all staff
- Reinforce sales management process by conducting monthly sales meetings
- Establish sales goals for each branch sales team members
- Assign and review team member’s goals; track and report progress towards achieving sales goals
- Ensure quality and integrity of the sales process
- Identify and refer prospective customers to specialized area departments within the Bank: Real Estate, Investment & Brokerage and SBA
- Business development of market area through proactive sales calls and networking
- Responsible for ensuring that all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner, per our customer service standards
- Encourage branch staff and sales team to promote customer knowledge of alternative delivery channels: Cash Management, Online Banking, Telebank, etc.
- Ensure branch merchandising and marketing materials are current
- Coach staff members on effective sales and service techniques using a formal monthly coaching session, observation coaching and quick coaching
- Develop a goal and action plan to enable employees to achieve goals
- Identify training needs of staff members and schedule appropriate training.
- Encourage staff to take advantage of additional training to prepare for advancement.
- Ensure that appropriate staffing levels are always maintained to provide high quality customer service
- Responsible for representing the Bank in a professional manner at targeted civic and community affairs on an as needed basis
- Ensure that regulatory compliance standards are met including Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act Policy
- Ensure all operational requirements are met in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Ensure that the branch facility is maintained in a clean and safe manner
- Responsible to offer ongoing support to the Commercial Lending staff where needed with administrative needs

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or
- Four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience and proficiency in sales management, including planning, goal setting, tracking, reporting and selling
- Management experience commensurate with size of assigned branch

Pay Range (Salary): $70,000 - $75,000
