Under the direction of the Patient Financial Services Director, the Billing Manager is responsible for directing the Billing office staff to include, Billing, Collections, Customer Service, Cash Posting, and Denial Management. Coordinate the daily activities related to the planning, implementing and maintaining of all functions pertinent to the Billing Office areas. Responsible for continued improvement in staff through education and training. Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills as well as excellent customer service skills to work with internal and external areas. In conjunction with the Director, must be able to meet performance goals to include cash collections, A/R days, production by area, and denial reduction. Three years of healthcare industry experience with an emphasis in billing and collections. Two years of managerial responsibilities is preferred.
