Financial Services Quality Assurance Coordinator

What You’ll Do: As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will review operational tasks completed within our Life, Annuity, and Wealth Management operations teams to ensure all transactions are processed correctly. You will be responsible for identifying defect trends and process enhancements that result in defect reduction. No two days are the same, so it’s important to be adaptable and flexible. You will also:

• Ensure all transactions through the Life, Annuity, and Wealth Management operations teams are processed correctly for an improved client-member and agent/advisor experience.
• Ensure established procedures are being utilized and followed. Where appropriate, raise awareness of required updates.
• Participate in daily team huddles on key activities and expectations of review tasks to be completed.
• Contribute to calibration sessions with the QA team to ensure scoring consistency and review proficiency.
• Assist in the QA team review of monthly QA results.
• Update job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in education opportunities; reading professional publications; maintain networks in professional organizations.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• College degree or equivalent plus 2 years in an operations processing role in financial services or other regulated industry required.
• Analytical, problem solving, decision-making, and organizational skills required.
• Experience with implementing operational processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and can effectively communicate complex, abstract ideas.
• Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
