    We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join the team in our Los Angeles or Woodland Hills, CA office in our Financial Services team either in a hybrid or remote capacity.

    YOUR TEAM.

    As part of the Financial Sponsors & Financial Services team, you’ll work with some of the nation’s leading private equity, venture capital, hedge, real estate, cannabis, private credit, and other alternative investment funds.

    You’ll gain valuable knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and use it to deliver the comprehensive transaction, fund, and portfolio company audit, tax, and value creation solutions.

    As a result of the unique organizational structure of most private investment funds, you’ll collaborate with other CohnReznick industry and service line team members to deliver outstanding technical and client service.

    YOUR ROLE.

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
    • Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules. Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to CohnReznick management.
    • Develop a professional relationship with the client. Gain the respect and confidence of the client by consistently demonstrating supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
    • Serve as the prime point-of-contact to the client. Ensure that the client is fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
    • Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise team direction.
    • Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.

    YOUR EXPERIENCE.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • 7 years of work experience in another public accounting firm
    • Financial Services Industry Experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree and active CPA required
    • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
    • Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
    • Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

    In California, the salary range for Assurance Managers is $125,000 - $180,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus; generous paid time off; expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
