Requirements for the Accounting Manager role:- A minimum of five years of leadership experience in an accounting setting with leadership experience
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Certification or licensure relevant to the accounting field is a plus
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and systems (experience with Jack Henry preferred)
- Skills in financial analysis and reporting are crucial
- Adeptness in overseeing accounting operations, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable and general ledger management
- Financial services / regulatory background required
Accounting Manager responsibilities include:- Spearheading various accounting operations, enhancing process efficiencies while maintaining accurate accounting practices in line with GAAP
- Management of financial documentation, analysis, and reporting
- Execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and overseeing the annual budgeting process
- Coordination of regulatory reporting and collaboration with external audit entities
- Implementation of internal audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance
- Supporting the team as required, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration
