In-Room Attendant (Plus Tips)

POSITION STATUS: FULL-TIME
START DATE: ASAP
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for delivering outstanding service in the Ahnala Restaurant and resort In-Room Dining. Responsible for selling the experience to the guests, taking orders, and delivering in a timely courteous manner to customers during hours of operation to guest rooms. Will be held responsible for upselling specialty cocktails, food, wine, and spirits. May be assigned to various venues as business dictates when assignment qualifications have been met. Will maintain the accuracy of the guest checks and ensure We Ko Pa Way services standards at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:
Must be knowledgeable of all health department requirements as well as state and federal laws and regulations to ensure compliance with all liquor applicable codes.
Must be personable to guests at all times.
Are required to verify that eFunds and Point transactions are redeemed correctly at the POS system and that the patron’s identification matches the patron’s club card with the bartender/cashier.
Must complete designated side work before the end of the shift.
Must be fully knowledgeable of all menu items.
Required to maintain a high level of customer service.
Must have a valid food handler’s permit HACCP training, and DRAM Shop training.
Must also possess all required government licenses and certificates.
Must have the ability to determine guests’ behavior cues and identify guest intoxication levels.
Wait for Staff in cash handling areas to verify that Credit Card purchases, Hotel Room Charges, eFunds, and Fortune Club Point transactions are redeemed correctly at the POS and that the patron’s identification matches the patron’s club card.
Will perform other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirement of 1-year experience as a quick service restaurant or sit down a la carte restaurant food server.
Must have experience in high-volume, multi-unit operations.
4 Diamond resort and/or casino experience required.
Must have a valid food handler’s permit and be Serve Safe certified.
Must have the ability to memorize menus and upsell menu items.
