SUMMARYResponsible for achieving and maintaining an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the guest rooms of the Hotel. Responsible for transporting all soiled linen to the staging area for laundry pickup and restock with clean. Ensure cleaning of all hotel floor common areas.ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Vacuums, sweeps, scrubs, mops and cleans carpet and flooring in guest rooms. Dusts, brushes, polishes, cleans and vacuums furniture, glass, mirrors, curtains, framed pictures, appliances and other structural fixtures and furnishings in guest rooms. Scrubs, disinfects and deodorizes showers, toilets, wash basins, and other bathroom and vanity fixtures.
- Removes trash and debris from guest rooms. Strips beds, collects dirty linens and makes beds with fresh linens. Replenishes linens, amenities and other supplies in guest rooms. Stock carts daily with supplies
- Strips guest rooms of all soiled linen and used towels
- Dusts, sweeps, mop, scrubs, vacuums, and clean assigned common areas of the Hotel.
- Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture and draperies as needed.
- Empties wastebaskets; empties and cleans ashtrays in assigned guest rooms.
- Transports trash and dirty linens to designated areas.
- Assists with laundry truck arrival and transporting clean products to the storage areas.
