Roofer covers roofs with roofing materials, such as composition shingles or sheets, wood shingles, or asphalt and gravel, to waterproof roof. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Roofer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Roofer performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. We are looking for commercial roofer in Rutland VT!
Commercial Roofer Summary : Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile / shingles).
- Able to work well in a team setting
- Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
- Able to lift 50 lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
- Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety
Commercial Roofer Requirements :
- 3 years of commercial roofing experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
