Roofer covers roofs with roofing materials, such as composition shingles or sheets, wood shingles, or asphalt and gravel, to waterproof roof. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Roofer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Roofer performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Looking for a hard working set of hands to get dirty. We have the tools for you (minus smaller tools and belt) and do all the training ourself but occasionally send people to manufacturer plants for further education. The only requirements are to show up on time, work safe, and talk through any issue that may arise. We work hard in this great Montana air and have fun while we are at it.
