Job Overview:

We are seeking a Roofer/Laborer to join our team. As a Roofer/Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various roofing projects and performing general labor tasks. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.

Duties:

- Assist with the installation and repair of roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal

- Prepare work areas by removing old roofing materials and debris

- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions

- Install underlayment, flashing, and other components to ensure proper waterproofing

- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear

- Clean up work areas and dispose of waste materials properly

Requirements:

- Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred

- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in roofing projects

- Familiarity with metal stud framing, frame carpentry, concrete forming, drywall, or other related skills is a plus

- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks

- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others

Note: This is a paid position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Compensation package:

• 1099 contract
• Hourly pay
