Description
The Risk Manager is responsible for Shoshone Medical Center (SMC) risk management activities, which include managing potential and pending claims against the facility and interfacing with legal counsel. Coordinates the development and assessment of SMC’s annual risk management plan complying with risk management related standards by CMS and IDAPA with the objective of enhancing and promoting patient safety, quality care, and minimizing loss to protect the assets of SMC. Administers the risk management program on a day to day basis and conducts risk management educational programs. Participates in formulating policy and/or organization changes.
Requirements
Graduate of accredited nursing program which may include LPN, Associates or RN. Risk management experience preferred.
