Risk Modeling Manager oversees the strategic business analysis modeling activities involved in an organization's credit risk management function. Develops and evaluates systems associated with controlling credit risk. Being a Risk Modeling Manager determines strategies and policies that maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize credit and operating losses and other risk exposure. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Risk Modeling Manager typically reports to top management. The Risk Modeling Manager manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Risk Modeling Manager typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Position Title: Part-Time At-Risk Tutor
    Position Type: Hourly ($25 per hour) / *** This position is funded by grant funds (State-comp Ed), which is solely based on the need of the campus.
    Position Hours: Part-Time; Monday – Friday
    Length of Term/Employment: 190 workdays / At-will
    Reports to: Campus Principal

    Position Mission: To guarantee the success of all students by providing specific and focused academic assistance to at-risk students, individual students or small groups of students working on individually prescribed learner objectives.

    Position Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency) preferred.
    • Strong content knowledge of the area of tutoring.
    • Effective knowledge of learning theory.

    Responsibilities and Job Duties:
    • Provide assistance to teachers and students in the Title I program.
    • Provides direct instruction to at-risk students identified as eligible for math, reading, and writing services in individual, and/or small group settings.
    • Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward at-risk student achievement of district’s content standards. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects using formal and informal assessment data obtained from students.
    • Assist in maintaining Title I working files on students; monitors student progress and provides input on student performance.
    • Assist students and teachers with classroom activities, tests, classroom management, clerical and record-keeping duties related to Title I students.
    • Attend staff meetings, workshops or other meetings related to the Title I program.
    • Uses a variety of manipulative and hands-on activities to support content standards and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
    • Creates a classroom environment and research-based program of study that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
    • Provides written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor.
    • Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
    • Assists the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct, and, for the classroom, develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.
    • Make provision for being available to students and parents for education related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so under reasonable terms.
    • Conducts or participates in needed parent conferences and telephone conferences.
    • Collaborates, as needed, with appropriate district/campus personnel regarding students who may need specialized interventions.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Communication:
    • Establish and maintain open communication by conducting conferences with parents, students, directors, and teachers.
    • Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community members.
    • Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.

    Professional Growth and Development:
    • Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills.

    Other:
    • Adheres to staff dress code.
    • Maintains a good working relationship with Jubilee Academies’ staff and parents.
    • Actively supports and participates in fundraising activities of Jubilee Academies.
    • Compile, maintain, and fill all reports, records, and other documents required.
