Risk Management Director manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Management Director researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. Additionally, Risk Management Director manages statistical analysis and designing of financial models to predict the risk exposure of an organization's assets. Reviews risk analysis reports to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Risk Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Risk Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Product Director, Travel Risk Management to join our team in Trevose, Pa. You will be responsible for the successful product management of core Platform Services and be accountable for the commercial end-to-end product lifecycle management of translating market trends, client requirements, and overall commercial strategy into a vision and roadmap. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in product management, or product ownership to join a highly experienced team at the forefront of industry trends, embarking on a transformation of products and solutions.Key responsibilities:
- Establish and own the Travel Risk Management vision and strategic priorities with input from Product Directors, Managers and other Analysts, Product Marketing research, client advisory boards and competition watch
- Guide extended teams on priority of roadmap, while managing & prioritizing flow of work into the product backlog
- Ensure the product backlog reflects the vision and strategy by working closely with Product Managers
- Maintain a product backlog to meet stakeholder needs that is transparent, visible, and well understood
- Coordinate dependencies with other product managers, product owners, and scrum teams within the organization
Key responsibilities cont.:
- Support communication of delivery timelines, status, risks, and escalations to the leadership team
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of the new delivery software platform
- Own the overall customer experience and customer journey
- Use business cases to make the case for new products/technology
- Identifies and defines opportunities within their portfolio for increasing internal efficiencies to provide a better quality, reduced costs, and/or increased productivity
About you
- Proven experience in developing & owning winning B2B2E platforms with excellent UX/UI
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, software, or another relevant field is desired
- Extensive experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis relating to software development
- Experience with underlying application program interface methods for systems integrations
- Thorough understanding of the platform product development organizational model and its vision to drive innovation and Agile development techniques
- Deep troubleshooting skills and capabilities to lead a triage team across a complex ecosystem with multiple application and service providers in times of critical service interruption
- Demonstrated experience team building, mentoring, and coaching specific to Product Management
