Risk Management Director manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Management Director researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. Additionally, Risk Management Director manages statistical analysis and designing of financial models to predict the risk exposure of an organization's assets. Reviews risk analysis reports to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Risk Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Risk Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Our Award Winning Client is seeking a dynamic professional to join their team as the Director of Risk Management. This is a full-time onsite position with paid relocation. Our client has received numerous awards and operates nationally, making them a leader in the healthcare industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Direct, organize, and lead day-to-day Risk Management operations for our client.
    • Serve as the hospital's Patient Safety Officer and Compliance Officer.
    • Oversee the Risk Management efforts and ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality healthcare services.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of a state-accredited school of nursing or accredited collegiate program in a health-science related field.
    • Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with seven (7) years of director-level experience; required.
    • At least four (4) years of leadership experience in an acute care facility.
    • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
