Job Description:
• Identify high-risk occurrences daily through a review of incident reports and keyword progress note reports.
• Conduct a review of the medical record to determine if any further action is needed to mitigate legal and regulatory risk.
• Work collaboratively with the regional team to triage high-risk events and schedule Risk Calls.
• Coordinate, schedule, and run all Risk Calls to review high-risk events.
• Complete chart audits or other audits as directed by the Regional Director of Risk Management on an as-needed basis.
Please have the following requirements:
RN license required.
Experience in long-term care is needed.
Direct knowledge of State and Federal regulation is preferred but not required.
