Risk Management Director manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Management Director researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment.     Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Risk Management Analyst. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

    What You'll Get to Do:

    As a Risk Manager, oversee and provide project management skills and tools to the operational aspects of Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Management, including:
    • Integrate with the relevant Element or Integrated Product Team (IPT) to help identify RIO items within their Statement of Work (SOW) responsibility, including any potential Intercompany Work Orders (IWOs) and Suppliers.
    • Act as a liaison to ensure high quality inputs and adherence to program toolsets and processes.
    • Support the IPT in all levels of RIO Boards including Program Management and Customer Reviews.
    • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
    • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
    • Develop mechanisms for managing and monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, IPTs, and functional management.

    This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience; 1 year with Master's; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Must have a current DOD Secret with the ability to obtain an SAP clearance
    • Experience in Business Management or Industrial Engineering.
    • Experience supporting DOD Programs.
    • Experience presenting to upper-level management.
    • Proficient on MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
    • Experienced in Risk Management Processes and Toolsets.
    • PMP Certification.
    • Background in Leading teams.
    • Currently GBSD Accessed.
    • Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel skills for monthly reconciliation including vlookups, pivots, sumifs.

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
