    Overview

    We are currently seeking a Director of Risk Project Management. A qualified leader will be working as part of the Enterprise Risk Management team.  In this role, the Director of Risk Project Management will lead and track initiatives, programs and projects within ERM.  The individual will report on all activities to senior management and provide support to enable executive management to meet organizational goals and objectives, ensure programs are functioning appropriately and take direct accountability for the results of assigned programs. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple Risk programs/projects simultaneously and resolves conflicting priorities.
    • Keeps stakeholders informed of messages, recommendations, decisions, process, and progress.
    • Defines business requirements for analytics & reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
    • Leads the execution of assigned strategic initiatives; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution and total ownership.
    • Drive and influence results by acting with speed, agility and adaptability
    • Provide direction and support to enable budget approval and prioritization. Ensure appropriate project financial health and expense efficiency. Mitigate financial risk through variance analysis.
    • Ensure overall risk identification and mitigation management as well as ongoing risk assessment and adaptation; create and manage appropriate escalation strategies and implementation. Ensure compliance with applicable company policies for project management, information security, risk, recordkeeping, etc.
    • Create and manage plans, progress and status reporting, stakeholder/risk/issues management plans, change control processes; ensure identification and appropriate conclusion of issues, assumptions and decisions. Ensure appropriate escalation strategies and implementation of resolutions.
    • Incorporate regular review and consultation with the sponsor, key stakeholders, business and support service groups to validate project progression, risk management, and performance
    • Ensure project communication incorporates all those affected internally/externally to fully understand the nature and implications of the change. Ensure prolific and effective communications; produce and organize information for presentations on approach, plan and management, utilizing various mediums to adjust to audience as appropriate. Magnify teams information radiators.
    • Develop and maintain key working and influencing relationships with appropriate colleagues across the business; ensuring new opportunities are identified and leveraged.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 15 years of experience in project management methodology, techniques, and tools, with proven skills managing project issues and risks to acceptable resolution.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or related project management certification preferred
    • Knowledge of and competency in project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, financial management, working in teams, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation and record keeping
    • Expertise in MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project, and Jira.
    • Leadership:  Significant experience in an EPMO leadership role; ability to engage with senior leaders
    • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely in a variety of settings and styles.
    • Gains support for change by providing context and responding with sensitivity to concerns and takes initiative to recommend/develop innovative approaches to getting things done.
    • Can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all and is a team player and encourages collaboration.
    • Significant experience in developing comprehensive performance measures and metrics by which to assess program and project performance, looking at the Bank’s objectives and strategies, cost/spend data, quality, schedule, resources, return on investment, and other measurement variables. 

    Compensation

    The base pay range for this position is USD $180,000.00/Yr. - USD $275,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
