SUMMARY STATEMENT

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst will support and contribute to Stride Bank’s ERM Program. This individual will work closely with liasons within the Bank to assess, quantify, and monitor exposure to risk and open issues. The ERM Analyst will be responsible for special projects and general troubleshooting to address both departmental and corporate level gaps and exposures.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist with monthly ERM and trend analysis reporting.
2. Assist in the Bank's functional risk assessment process; partner with business line leaders to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks at the functional risk level.
3. Conduct risk assessments on projects, programs, initiatives, and strategies related to corporate and functional goals and objectives; this may include collecting and analyzing data and educating stakeholders.
4. Support Bank and Payment Partner ERM Oversight initiatives, Internal Business Controls Matrix updates, and Bank-wide Documentation Initiatives.
5. Updates Issue Management (NFindings) and Remediation Log by validating issues have been closed accordingly (NFindings).
6. Ensure items are being logged and remediated accordingly for ACH processing issues.
7. Maintain updated policies and work with business liaisons on developing policies and procedures using the Bank templates.
8. Ensure Task notifications are assigned in NRisk and work with business liaisons to ensure Risk Assessments are completed accordingly, and correct ownership levels are assigned.
9. Assist with assigned Enterprise Training requirements.
10. Serve as a backup to the Training Coordinator.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or 1 years equivalent experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITIES

• Knowledge of risk management best practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements within financial services industry.
• Knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management techniques.
• Ability to work with multiple business partners in professional manner.
