Summary: Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly Credit Risk Management reports and other reports as requested, examines loan transactions for adherence to bank policy while promoting an accurate loan database by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Prepares advanced monthly and quarterly Credit Risk Management reports and presentations that outline findings to Board of Directors and Executive Management.
- Prepares advanced external reports for regulators.
- Reconciles reserve for loan losses and reserve for contingencies GL accounts monthly.
- Helps maintain and ensure the accuracy of the bank’s internal watch list and non-accrual list.
- Assists or manages special projects under the direction of the Credit Risk Manager.
- Gathers risk-related data from internal or external resources.
- Writes and updates Credit Risk Reports in BIC, the IBS reporting writing software.
- Provides administrative assistance as needed for Credit Risk Manager.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Finance or Accounting preferred; two to three years related experience preferred and/or MBA.
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use bank-specific software such as MPC, IBS, ADP, etc.
- Ability to use basic office machines.
