Right of Way Agent prepares organization's need for additional land or office space. Researches, negotiates and elects to purchase short- and long-term lease of land agreements and right of way for construction that meet the organization's goals. Being a Right of Way Agent handles all land related legal issues, including transfers of titles and deeds, construction, mortgage concerns, and zoning. Prepares resolutions and other legal forms related to land acquisitions. Additionally, Right of Way Agent may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Right of Way Agent contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. POSITION PURPOSE: The Middle School Project Lead the Way (PLTW) teacher provides students with a rigorous and relevant Science/Technology/Engineering/Math (STEM) education.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure students gain skills in problem-solving, communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, and creativity; help students focus on solving real world problems and use the design process to “think like an engineer”; Facilitate student learning, use data to plan, organize and set goals; and maintain safe and orderly environment;
Responsible for teaching to the South Carolina PLTW Gateway Standards to include various software applications and PLTW’s learning management system;
Responsible for facilitating career planning opportunities in STEM occupations for students.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.
