    Job Description


    * Stay current with CMS Methodology and other payer requirements through research and education sessions * Support and assist in coordination of hospital and billing departments to ensure all third party billing is completed in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with federal, state, and payer guidelines and requirements * Perform all new hire training, both one on one and in group settings. * Conduct ongoing training of existing staff, both one on one and in group settings. * Record/document all training activities.  Monthly reporting required. * Perform initial, 90 day, and annual competencies on staff. * Mentoring and Coaching of all revenue cycle staff. * Perform tasks necessary in completion of special projects. * Develop, organize, and maintain departmental policies, procedures & processes in conjunction with manager. * Act in a supporting role related to the ongoing maintenance and optimization of Revenue Cycle tools (SSI, Collections Management, PFM, DAKS, EPIC, etc.) * Oversee ongoing training of 150 employees across the enterprise. * Examines business and procedural workflows to identify weaknesses in proposed or established flows and suggests alternatives as necessary * Develop, maintain, and update training curriculum for onboarding and ongoing staff and leadership training * Participate in operations meetings as necessary to ensure current policies and procedures are adhered to or to identify needed changes **Requirements:** * Associates degree preferred.  Must have high school diploma or equivalent * 5 years experience in revenue cycle, required * Must have prior billing and/or follow up experience in healthcare. * Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payer guidelines. * Demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required.  Required to learn and facilitate training of most systems. * Good communication skills.   Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. * Must be able to work and interact with other employees in a professional and engaging manner.
