Job Title: Returns Specialist

Job Summary:

PMC is seeking a skilled Warranty & Returns Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of warranty claims and end-to-end returns for our products, both from our customers and to our vendors. This includes, but is not limited to, managing customer inquiries, assessing warranty claims, and processing returns in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Warranty & Returns Specialist will work closely with our sales, accounting& operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries related to warranty claims and returns in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule shipments for customer returns to PMC when appropriate, coordinating with the operations team to ensure the optimal shipment method is used.
• Assess the validity of warranty claims and determine appropriate resolutions, such as repair or replacement of products or return to our vendor for credit.
• Communicate with internal teams, including sales, accounting & operations to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Process returns in accordance with company policies and procedures, including inspection of returned products, determining the reason for return, and issuing refunds or replacements when appropriate.
• Manage return shipments of defective product to our vendors.
• Collaborate & manage communication with vendors that we have shipped defective product back to ensure timely disposition & crediting.
• Responsible for maintaining the organization of all RMA work areas.
• Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and returns, including tracking trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Provide regular reports to management on warranty and returns performance.
• Maintain a working knowledge of PMC and vendor return policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred but not required.
• 3 years of experience in warranty management & returns processing.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal & written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
