Retail Tire Service Manager manages the service staff to effectively meet customer requirements and minimize tire service related expenses. Assigns jobs within the service center and dispatches road and fleet service according to customer requests or established requirements. Being a Retail Tire Service Manager makes recommendations for hiring, firing and disciplining of service techs. Trains service technicians and conducts new hire orientation; schedules other training as required. Additionally, Retail Tire Service Manager ensures that company policies are being followed with regard to safety, DOT and established operating procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a store manager. The Retail Tire Service Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent - experience preferred, but we will train motivated candidates. Physical Requirements: Good physical health including ability to frequently lift 60 pounds. Frequent bending, carrying, hearing, lifting, pushing, standing, stooping and walking. Occasional climbing, crawling, crouching and reaching. Working Conditions: Required to work at varying temperature and humidity. Frequently subjected to vibrations, mechanical and electrical hazards. Atmospheric conditions occasionally include fumes and dust. The noise level may be high.
