Retail Tire Service Manager manages the service staff to effectively meet customer requirements and minimize tire service related expenses. Assigns jobs within the service center and dispatches road and fleet service according to customer requests or established requirements. Being a Retail Tire Service Manager makes recommendations for hiring, firing and disciplining of service techs. Trains service technicians and conducts new hire orientation; schedules other training as required. Additionally, Retail Tire Service Manager ensures that company policies are being followed with regard to safety, DOT and established operating procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a store manager. The Retail Tire Service Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Retail Tire Service Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks on vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for any additional service or repair needs

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and accurately
