Retail Tire Service Manager jobs in Maryland
Retail Tire Service Manager manages the service staff to effectively meet customer requirements and minimize tire service related expenses. Assigns jobs within the service center and dispatches road and fleet service according to customer requests or established requirements. Being a Retail Tire Service Manager makes recommendations for hiring, firing and disciplining of service techs. Trains service technicians and conducts new hire orientation; schedules other training as required. Additionally, Retail Tire Service Manager ensures that company policies are being followed with regard to safety, DOT and established operating procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a store manager. The Retail Tire Service Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Retail Tire Service Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
