Retail Tire Sales Associate evaluates retail customer needs and makes tire product/service recommendations accordingly. Schedules appointments with the service department. Being a Retail Tire Sales Associate answers telephone calls in a professional manner and refers callers to the appropriate personnel. Ensures retail area is maintained in a neat, clean, professional manner. Additionally, Retail Tire Sales Associate aids in receiving, stocking and maintaining all displays. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Retail Tire Sales Associate works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
- Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking tires , arranging displays and cleaning.
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies
- Fulfill online orders and ensure timely delivery or pick-up
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trendsQualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Familiarity with tires and sizes a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
