Retail Store Planning and Construction Director jobs in Kalamazoo, MI

We are hiring Merchandisers that have store reset/remodel experience. We have several openings and are looking for people that want to work and have a passion for merchandising.

Job Requirements

1. Be part of a team that will work to complete the entire remodel/reset of the store.

2. Use basic hand tools and/or cordless drill to take apart fixtures and shelving and put back together.

3. Use a diagram as an instructional tool to be able to restock shelves and build out product displays.

4. Move products to different locations in the store. 

Physical requirements

1. Able to carry objects and product up to 35 pounds

2. Lift objects and product up to a maximum of 50 pounds

3. Use team lift to lift heavy objects up to 100 pounds

4. Able to reach, lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and squat to reach high and/or low shelves.

Qualifications

1. Retail merchandising and/or store remodel/reset or stocking product(s) experience

2.  Ability to work overnight shift (typically 10 pm to 7 am Sunday- Thursday)

3. Ability to use basic hand tools such as box cutter, drill, screw driver, hammer etc.
