Retail Store Planning and Construction Director is responsible for ensuring the layout/design of a retail store meets prescribed requirements. Monitors store modifications and changes to ensure budget adherence. Being a Retail Store Planning and Construction Director directs plans for equipment installation in order to meet store requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Retail Store Planning and Construction Director typically reports to a top management. The Retail Store Planning and Construction Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. This is a hybrid position, must live near Dublin, CA and you will be working in the office T, W and Th, the hours are 8-5.
The base salary is $66,560.00 a year.
Responsible for developing store space plans used to purchase, bid and execute retail Store Projects using prototype directives. The Store Project includes new stores, remodels, rollouts, and special projects, as assigned. The Store Planner is expected to interpret data to optimize layouts which fit the needs of the business partners, store operational requirements, and applicable building codes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Degree and/or certification in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field required, or equivalent experience in space planning.
