Additionally, Retail Store Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Retail Store Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     Job Overview: Manages daily operations of retail store to ensure high standards of guest experience and efficient, cost-effective operations. Implements plans to maximize sales; directs merchandise programs, schematics, point of sale materials and plus selling programs to meet or exceed goals and objectives.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Supervisory experience in retail industry to equal four years.
    • High School Degree or GED. 
    • Demonstrated proficiency and experience with word processing, spreadsheets, inventory control software and accounting processes.
    • Exceptional communications skills; ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of audiences.
    • Certified Food Service Manager Certificate or ability to obtain within one year of employment. 
    • Ability to work in a wide range of climate temperatures, including excessive heat and/or subzero temperatures.
    • Proficiency in maintaining safety while handling potential fumes, chemicals, odors, and/or noise.
    • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
    • Capacity to handle and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
