General Summary/Purpose
The Retail Operations and Core Systems Administrator serves as the primary bank expert on the design and functionality of our Core Banking platform. They are responsible for implementing and supporting the Core Banking platform across the organization. They work with all departments to understand needs, centralize all enhancement requests submitted by the bank, and regularly report back on progress. They take ownership of submitting requests related to changes or service disruptions, and ensure timely resolution is provided by our Core Banking provider.
The Core Banking BSA reviews monthly invoices related to core banking services to identify any billing errors, ensure supplemental services are optimized, and make recommendations for review of existing services that are not supporting business objectives. They participate in regular monthly meetings with our core provider, and work closely with bank leaders designated to manage the core relationship.
They provide training to all new hires on basic functionality within the core platform, and ongoing training based on business line or individual need.
The Core Banking BSA will participate in projects related to core banking services and may be asked to lead certain projects.
