Our Marketing Frontend Developer - CRO will play a pivotal role in advancing our Optimization and A/B Testing Program by conceptualizing, creating, and implementing tests in Optimizely to enhance the Conversion Rate of our website. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in Software Development, Conversion Optimization, Usability, Accessibility, Web Analytics, and Marketing, providing technical guidance to align with business objectives at Extra Space and Life Storage. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain systems and websites within your purview. Establish a partnership with business teams to comprehend their processes and collaborate on solutions to meet and exceed their requirements. Research, recommend, and execute enhancements to boost revenue and enhance overall customer experience, using data-driven analysis to prioritize efforts. Present recommendations through user flows, wireframes, and presentations to communicate strategy effectively. Attain established goals within a testing-centric environment. Assess the profitability of each test and program through pre/post analyses in collaboration with the Data Science team. Supervise the design, development, and implementation of prototypes and tests to optimize the customer experience, continually measuring, testing, and optimizing for CX enhancements. Job Specifications Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS, and other JS Frameworks. Desired experience with React, Vue, Angular, or similar UI frameworks. Not required but nice to have: Node.js, C#, and SQL. Familiarity with A/B testing software such as Optimizely, Optimize, Adobe, etc. Knowledge of Scrum/Agile development methodologies. Self-motivated and flexible with a technically savvy approach. Experience in website optimization, website analytics, quantitative and qualitative research is highly preferred. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with user testing, design software, and CMS. Strong data management skills (Excel, Heatmap Software, Google Analytics). Ability to maintain self-motivation and operate with an entrepreneurial mindset. Skills in complex problem-solving, judgment, critical thinking, creative thinking, and decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and report writing abilities. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of a graduate degree is a plus, but not required. This position requires 2-5 years of related experience.
