Candidate will lead Space Management team and support all space inventory and use activities for Army buildings at Silver Spring, MD facility. The Candidate will be required to provide customer service to internal clients (employees and managers) in person and over the phone.
In addition, the candidate must be proficient in the following areas and systems:

Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Access.

SharePoint (Walter) Access. Employee shall complete required Army SharePoint training to allow access to publish and share content within the Army SharePoint environment. Employee may be required to publish content in other systems such as All Partners Access Network (APAN) or MilSuite. Employee shall complete any required training to access systems such as these if the government require use.

AutoCAD System proficiency for Army facility drawings and census data. Employee shall publish configurable versions of all current space drawings and census data onto Army Intranet site on a monthly basis.

Space Assessment. Candidate shall be proficient at managing space utilization data to include room number, occupant affiliation, room usage type, configuration, number of full-time occupants, numbers of data and phone drops, location of furniture, etc.

Process, checklist and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation. Candidate must be proficient at create and update Space Management change request process, checklist and SOP (Continuity Book) for Army users. SOP and checklist shall include all known requirements for furniture, carpet, paint, vendors to be used, and processes to be followed at time of creation. Updates shall be published within 10 business days of substantive process changes.

Space modification support. Candidate shall be capable of managing space modification requests through the Army Space Manager. The position requires the candidate to research the location, intended use, and prepare plans that most effectively attain requested outcome (renovation, new furniture, carpet, paint/patch or adding/subtracting workspaces, etc…).
