    Position SummaryThe Maxwell Museum of Anthropology is seeking to fill work study position(s) for students to help with a scanning project to digitize museum records, including catalog cards and donation records. Scanning assistant will need to be organized and detail oriented.

    Duties include:
    •       Using overhead scanner or flatbed scanner to digitize catalog cards and other documents according to written procedures.
    •       Updating PDF filenames according to specific formatting instructions

    •       Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
    •       High attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
    •       Ability to work independently.
    •       Basic computer skills and familiarity with using flatbed scanners and/or overhead scanners.
    •       Ability to complete work during regular museum hours (M-F 8:30am-4:30)
