Reliable, loving and engaging nanny for 3 year old

Location: West Chester, PA.

Schedule: Full Time: 40 hours per week, M-F 9:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional “date nights” for overtime.

Start date: April, May or June

Pay: $20/hour

Ideal candidate: We are looking for an engaged, professional, loving nanny to care full time for our toddler- he’ll be 3 in April. Candidate has experience working as a full-time nanny for a toddler in the past, loves children, will engage, talk to, play with and read to our son, take him to the park or story time daily, enthusiastically participate in creative activities like painting and puzzles. Our son is happy, curious, open and hungry to learn about the world.

Covid Vaccine and Clean Driving Record Required. Background check will be performed.

Who we are: Loving parents, both working from home. We have a small hypoallergenic dog.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years experience as a nanny for young children
• Clean driving record. Family will provide a car for the nanny's use.
• Annual flu shot received (or willing to get it)
• Must be up to date on all standard vaccines
• Willing to receive a recent TDAP shot if haven't in the last 5 years
• COVID vaxed and boosted
• Comfortable working in a household where parent works from home and grandparents are present.
• Comfortable with a sweet, 10 year old, small dog in the home

Responsibilities:

• Loving and attentive care of our son, including meeting all of the basic needs (diapering, potty training, bathing, eating, naps, etc.)
• Preparation of meals (lunch and snack.)
• Engage child in learning and exploration via books, drawing/painting, songs and play
• Plan and participate in age appropriate activities (e.g., music and other baby classes)
• Spend time outdoors daily when weather permits
• Child’s laundry, wash, fold and put away
• Run dishwasher/put away dishes
• Keep kitchen and child’s area’s clean and organized
