Retail Receiving Clerk - Full Time jobs in Richland, WA

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk works with all customers & carriers to schedule all inbound and outbound activity. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is expected to maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments and communicate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify information on inbound and outbound activity completed by warehouse staff matches information listed on BOLs, invoices, packing slips, etc.
• Process inbound and outbound activity through WMS system.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments via email
• Scan/email inbound & outbound documents to customers
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
• Check in truck drivers via phone or in person.
• Coordinate pickups/deliveries with 3rd party storage warehouses.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area
• All other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and function at a high level within a team environment.
• Must be detail oriented possessing the ability to perform multiple tasks. in a fast-paced open office environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with inventory management, shipping/receiving software.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 35lbs. climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp and walk

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent or higher
• Minium one year of administrative inventory experience/experience in shipping an receiving.
• Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred.
• Associate degree in administration, or equivalent preferred
